Saturday, November 7th:
Extra Competition Practices-

Wednesday, November 11th:
5:30-6:30 Hair and Make Up “how to do” Lessons-
*All Competition students and mothers

Friday, November 13th
Cost is $10 per person if you wish to watch. Dancers are Free
MU Cheerleading Performance
Arrive at Hernes (Field house side) at 7:30pm sharp dressed and ready to dance with hair and make-up done.
Carlee Fenton – orange/pink 2 piece costume. Pigtail buns with NO poof
Cha Cha Heels – White/black tops, black bootie shorts, tan tights, tan pedinis. Poof with high ponytail
Get Up – Colored costumes with net biketard over. Pigtail buns with NO poof.

Saturday, November 14th:
Cost is $10 per person if you wish to watch. Dancers are Free

Saturday Day- Arrive at Hernes (field house side) at 11:00am sharp and ready to dance with hair and make-up done.
Girlfriend – Jean costume tan tights, tan pedinis. Poof with high straight pony
Itsy Bitsy – new 2 piece costume tan tights, tan pedinis. Pigtail buns with NO poof.

Saturday Night - Arrive at Hernes (field house side) at 5:45 sharp and ready to dance with hair and make-up done.
Hokey Pokey – New 2 piece costume tant tights, tan pedinis. Pigrail buns with NO poof.
Work me Down – White/black tops, black bootie shorts, tan tights, tan pedinis. Poof with high PonytailBingo – Black leotard, jean shorts tan tights, tan pedinis. Pigtail buns with NO poof.

Week of November 23rd-27th:
All solos/duets/trios chorography should be completed and should be in the clean up process. Please be sure to schedule extra privates with your teacher if your child’s dance still needs to be completed. *Reminder that in order to look their best, we ask that each solo/duet/trio have a 30 min private every other week. Schedule this with your solo teacher.

Monday, November 23rd:
Competition Practice **Follow Winter Competition Schedule (Life Goes to a Party will begin at 4:00 followed by Mother’s Prayer at 4:30)

Wednesday, November 25th:
We are performing at the Volley Ball game. We will be performing the following twirling numbers at this time Carlee and Jacy; still may perform BINGO - Time TBA.


DECEMBER
Monday, December 7th – Thursday, December 10th
Holiday performances each evening beginning at 5:30

Thursday, December 10th:
Noon performance at CCMO-
Newcomers group luncheon (Sammie’s Grandmother). Would like level 6/7 to perform. Who would be available?

Tuesday, December 15th:
Winter Competition Schedule (Life Goes to a Party will begin at 4:00 followed by Mother’s Prayer at 4:30)

Wednesday, December 16th:
5:30-7:30 solo class for ALL solos/duets/trios. We will be assessing to be sure all dancers are competition ready as they will be performing on January 9.

Thursday, Dec17th:
Winter Competition Schedule (Life Goes to a Party will begin at 4:00 followed by Mother’s Prayer at 4:30)

Friday, December 18th:
6:00-9:00pm catering-
Academy of Fine Arts and Early Childhood Learning Holiday party. Level 5/6/7 will host. Wear new white tops with black dress pants. Students will be catering and should look professional. Parent volunteer to supervise the students?

Saturday, December 19th:
Annual Academy Competition Ornament Exchange-
Ms. Sherry’s House (2012 Chapel Ridge Rd) 11-2pm *note the NEW time. Please plan to have your dancer bring an ornament for an ornament exchange under $10. Feel free to sign up if you would like to bring an appetizer.

Saturday, December 19th:
Performance at CC City Broilers-
Buchroeders Christmas party time TBD. Plan on Level 3/4

Monday, December 21st:

Costume Check **Note we may move this to the next week depending on timing
Please plan to have all costumes completed and stoned by this day. A schedule for this is to come.

9:30-12:00
Annual Academy Competition Showcase for 2010 at The Hazel Kinder Lighthouse Theatre. All groups, solos, duets and trios will perform in full costume with complete hair and make-up.

Tuesday Jan. 12th and Thursday, Jan. 14th:
Winter Competition Schedule (Life Goes to a Party will begin at 4:00 followed by Mother’s Prayer at 4:30)

Friday Jan. 15th – Sunday Jan. 17th:
LA Dancemagic in STL

Competition Dances
It is that time of the year that all students should have all competition dances completely memorized. It is now time the time of the year we have to clean and polish dances to make sure they are competition ready. Please understand the teachers are working hard to make sure dances are ready and all changes are for the good of the team. If your student needs extra help please get with the teachers.

Costumes

2009-2010 Costume List and Music
Costume list and music has been released there are more CD’s at the front if you didn’t get a chance to purchases one.
New costumes are being made. We hope to have some ready for the MU cheerleading show

Make Up
List is out be sure to have all this make up
Same make up as last year!
Each student needs a foundation and concealer that matches their skin tone in their competition bag. You can purchase this at Walgreens, Target or Wal-mart for a minimal price.
Make up ‘How to Session’ next Wednesday, November 11, 2009 @ 5:30-6:30. We do need daughter and mother present. Please have all make-up by this time.

Thanks to everyone for making the fittings run so smoothly!!
All costumes that were exchanged were fitted and Wanda is working on final tweaks. Please plan to make appt. with her to pick up your costumes she currently has. Please pay her for any adjustments she has made.

Stones for all Costumes:
Stone orders will be placed tonight. We have the new process in place!
Each costume was assigned an amount by gross in size 20 or 30.
As an addition to the stones you order, we ask every student to order an additional 1 gross 20’s and 1 gross 30’s for miscellaneous costume belongings (earrings, chokers, bows, belt buckles) and any stones that might get lost.
A great way to stand out and, is a lot of fun for the girls, is to stone their tops, shirts, leo’s and warm-ups. If you would like to do so please order an extra gross for these projects.

Props:
We need a parent to volunteer to be in charge of each of the following props. The role will involve working with the teacher to get the props ready for competition. Then checking the prop the Thursday before the competition and the Thursday after the competition. This will ensure the props stays in good shape.

We do ask that all competition students order a t-shirt and its great when the Moms can show their support as well!
The shirts are white American Apparel (like recital). Child sizes are crew neck and Adult sizes are V neck
