2010-2011 Fundraiser Reminders

 Spaghetti Pie Dinners: Orders are due on Thursday, September 9th. Will need some volunteers to meet me at Woodcrest on Thursday, September 16th at 3:30 pm. to load them up and take to the studio.

 Car Wash: September 11 at Andy’s Frozen Custard-12pm – 3 pm. Please promote by emailing it out to family and friends, post on FaceBook, etc! Need families to bring towels, buckets, a sprayer, an extra hose with splitter.

 Going Bonkers: October 8 at Going Bonkers. AFA will get 50% of the admissions collected at the door that evening (times TBD). Possible MU Football Tickets raffle, dance contest, etc. (Tina Greim)

 Cookbook Group Fundraiser: Recipes due via email on October 15th. Cookbooks will be in for Christmas. (Misti Hollrah and Connie Fenton)

 Sponsorship Letters: Due October 30th. Letters were emailed out on Monday. If you didn’t get one & would like one please email Misti at misti.hollrah@gmail.com.

 Pasta Fundraiser: order forms will be passed out at October Booster meeting and orders will be due at the November Booster meeting. Will be able to do online orders again.

 Scrapbook Fiesta: November 5 and 6. Sig-up for Committees.

 Breakfast with Santa at Applebee’s: December 4th from 8am – 10 am.

 December Spaghetti Dinners: Orders are due on Thursday, December 9th. Pick-up will be on December 16th between 5pm and 6:30 pm.

 February Spaghetti Dinners: Orders are due on Thursday, Feb 3th. Pick-up will be on Feb 10th between 5pm and 6:30 pm.

 Snowflake Contest: February 5th, 2011 in Moberly.

 April Spaghetti Dinners: Orders are due on Thursday, April 7th. Pick-up will be on April 14th between 5pm and 6:30 pm.

 Bunko Night (Date TBD) will be in the spring sometime.

Cookbook Group Fundraiser Details

Details:
 Each family will be required to submit a minimum of 6 recipes. (Attached is a form for sending for family & friends requesting recipes)
 Each family will commit to sell a minimum of 5 cookbooks. (Suggested retail price is $12-15-depends on the # of recipes submitted/# of cookbooks ordered). Our cost is $2.50 -5 per cookbook.
 Recipes will be submitted via email to afafundraisers@gmail.com no later than October 15th.

 Recipe Submission Format:
Name of Recipe: Pull-Apart Bacon Bread
Category: Breads & Rolls

Recipe:
12 bacon strips, diced
2 tubes (12 oz each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 T Italian salad dressing mix
2 t olive oil
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp. Using a slotted spoon, remove to paper towels to drain. Separate biscuits; cut each biscuit into quarters. In a large bowl, combine the cheese, dressing mix, oil and bacon. Place half of the biscuit pieces in a greased 10-in fulted tube pan; sprinkle with half of the cheese mixture. Top with remaining biscuit pieces and cheese mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve immediately.

Cookie Dough Delivery and Extra Cookie Dough For Sale

The cookie dough will be delivered on Wednesday, August 26th around 11 am.

I could use some helpers to help me sort! You can pick up your orders around 12:00 pm. If you arrive before it’s all sorted…..plan to help sort!! Sorting the cookie dough is a huge job and I could use a couple of helpers! Please email me at misti.hollrah@gmail.com or call me at 573-639-0237 if you are able to help sort.

Please pick up your orders on Wednesday, if you are not able to pick them up before the Academy closes, please let me know and I will make sure your cookie dough is placed in the frig and will bring them on Thursday. But please make every effort to pick them up on Wednesday because I do not have enough frig or freezer space to store everyone’s orders!

We have the following cookie dough available for purchasing, please make checks payable to Dance Boosters and pick up on Thursday, August 27. It’s first come first serve bases….email me and I will mark you down.
